Mother of two human children and five canines- I love to do things for myself such as building my own kitchen island, finishing my basement and adding a bathroom.
My daughter and I recently started vermicomposting and are planning on doing a small starter garden this year.
We hope to accomplish with these new things we are trying out to reduce our footprint as well as eat truly fresh and chemical free.
I don't have much of a green thumb, but I come from a long line of Gardner's so I hope it runs in the genes somewhere lol
We did transform a huge section of our front yard into a flower garden a few years ago, and although it was definitely trial and error I think we learned a lot. Like Google everything and research it first! But I would have to say that even though its still a work in progress ( is a flower garden ever really finished? It is a success so far.
