Presto Chango French Provincial to Pottery Barn, This space started life as an all wood...paneling, cabinets, doors...all dark wood...space. It had 1970s stylish harvest gold appliance..well stove and refrigerator..those were all the appliances there were in this charming cozy room..I painted all cabinets white, playing up the molding on the cabinets, changed pulls to silver, changed out appliances to black to provide some contrast and color, floor went to white vinyl for light. Ikea came to the rescue with some fresh stainless steel shelves and accessories to modern things up. I moved the refrig to the opposite side of the room and slipped in a butcher block island cabinet with a drop leaf for some additional counter space when needed, Painted the depressing paneling Lemon Ice color from Benjamin Moore.
