Old servants stairs reno, I removed four layers of paint off of the handrails, balusters, and linen cabinet.  After taking the carpeting off of the stairs and scraping the paint off of the risers, I found the original stain color of this stairway-gold mine-hey?  That was not the real mess-taking off the old linoleum on the treads was!!  Luckily the linoleum in the hall just popped off.  The linen cabinet is still a work in progress as the poly needs to dry and interior painted (lime green walls) and stained., Entryways & Halls
